Super serious Asahi Suzumura and laidback, easygoing Mitsuki Sayama might seem like an odd couple, but they made a deal; they'll vacation around the world and when they get back to Japan, they'll get married. As they travel from country to country, the different people, cultures and cuisine they encounter begin to bring them closer together. After all they're not just learning about the world, but about themselves too.

After quitting his job, Asahi tells his boyfriend Mitsuki that he’ll marry him if they go on a trip around the world together first. Though Asahi’s cautious nature often clashes with Mitsuki’s carefree ways, the two grow steadily closer as they sightsee and eat their way through the first three countries on their first world tour: Thailand, India, and Georgia. The people they meet and places they see will forever change their lives.
