Frightening meteorites hit the ground, and opening bridges to other worlds. Some people gain amazing physical and magical abilities, that they used to fight monsters coming out of bridges. The main character (Emma Soga) dies killed by a monster, but for unexplained reasons, she comes back to life. She gains the mysterious abilities that she uses to fight invaders from other worlds, and to try to regain his freedom.

Yuji Kuze, the hero who once saved another world, returns to Japan only to find himself without a place to belong—reduced to what society calls a “loser.” Just as he contemplates ending his life, he wanders into Kabukicho and encounters a peculiar concept café. This café is a special place where girls who are also “otherworld returnees” work. “You should try becoming a hero in this city again,” someone tells him—pushing him to stand back up. Thus, Yuji vows to rise once more! A new adventure begins for the man who once saved an entire world.
