Youichi's life at university is going just fine. He isn't having any trouble with his classes, he has plenty of friends, and even a cute girlfriend named Minami. Then the day comes where he meets Misaki. Misaki is a reserved, stand offish fellow but for some reason, Youichi can't seem to get him out of his mind. In fact, he can't seem to stay away. When he lands a job working in the lab with Misaki, it seems more than just the flowers are about to bloom. But will they recognise their emotions for what they are, and have the courage to accept it?

Far away from home, Yuuji and Minato have carved a place for themselves in Alberta, Canada, with their new baby daughter, Yui. Yuuji works at a University, while Minato – though still as childish as ever despite being a new dad, works at the conservation center as a mediator for the better understanding between humans and Dinosauroids. It’s been a year since the contagion called X Syndrome had been unleashed on the human race. Just as distinguished government officials and police force began to regain control of the situation, the existence of the Dinosauroids became known by the academic community. Dinosauroids – while they have a tendency to possess superhuman abilities, female births are extremely rare and problematic. Which is why the existence of Yuuji (a converted female Dinosauroid), and the newly born Yui are so valuable and sought after by many – most of whom wont hesitate to resort to dubious means to acquire either one of them! True to words, Yuuji has indeed become the beauty as many had predicted – provided he takes off his heavy glasses of course! He is never short of admirers – both males and females, including a University student Linea, and the various Dinosauroid males eager to mate with a Dinosauroid female. And this is where the role of a female in a heavily populated male Dinosauroid society comes to play. Add to that, the various nefarious people after the newly born Yui, both the parents Yuuji and Minato might have their hands full this time around as well. This is the third and final installment of the Animal X series.

Chapter 1-3, 6: Hidaka Atsushi and Sakaki Youichi have known each other since senior high school, and are now going to the same college together. They share a "rotten relationship", according to Atsushi, who, at one time, gave in to temptation and slept with his friend. Disgruntled about having to play the "bottom" role (since Youichi is 20cm taller than him), Atushi seeks out a smaller, cute boy to whom he can play seme to. Around the time that Hinaki Mitsura climbed his way to number two host in the club, Tsukayama Satoshi transfers from a branch store. He was Mitsura’s senior in high school, and also the cause of Mitsura’s most devastating memory. Tsukayama proceeds to take over as top host, surpassing Mitsura and the man he has been living with, Miura-san. Miura-san is kind, gentle, and wants to protect and love Mitsura. But Mitsura’s heart is closed, that is until Tsukayama starts to work his way under Mitsura’s skin. His growing attraction to the arrogant one who caused a deep scar under the full moon is a source of confusion and suffering, and he begins to question everything he is - everything he has worked to become. This love story vividly depicts the human drama among hosts, under the blurry moon.

Atsushi mistakes Masayoshi for Masami and is horrified because to him, it appears that Masami's personality has done a complete 180. Add to the fact that Atsushi's friend, Kouji Inagaki is totally in love and constantly trying to make-out with him, Atsushi's life at Jougaoka is hell until he starts thinking that maybe the new Ma-chan isn't so bad after all and that, maybe he actually likes the way Ma-chan is now. Until of course, he finds out that Masayoshi isn't Masami.

Continuation of Yukari and Otoumi's story, which begins in Hitomi no ounowa (dear green). 1.
